The village of Agios Dimitrianos is situated 3 kilometers south west of Kannaviou Village and 2 kilometers north east of Psathi Village, on the main E703 road between Polemi and Pano Panagia.
The village was named after the church of Agios Dimitrianos located in the area where the village was built. The church and the ascetic cave where Agios Dimitrianos stayed for some time before becoming Bishop of Chitron.

It lies on a hill above the Ezousa Valley and is surrounded by traditional vineyards. The main industry of the area is farming and boasts exceptional examples of traditional rural architecture.
