Cypriot Villages in the Diarizos Valley

The Diarizos Valley lies west to south west of the Troodos mountain range and takes its name from the river Diarizos which runs through it.

The valley has many habitats in a relatively small area. The flora and fauna of the region has not been studied fully but a large number of endemic protected and other important species have already been recorded.
