Mosque, Maronas Village
The Maronas Village Mosque is situated the centre of the village. Maronas village is situated 3kms up a very steep road, off the main F616 road between Nikokleio and Agios Nikolaos just past Agios Georgios in Diarizos Valley on the road from Paphos.
Maronas Mosque is a rectangular planned Mosque with a minaret and cement stairs on the outside of the Mosque.
Inside of the Mosque
The hipped roof is supported with a single arch and the ceiling is made from timber beams.
The walls of the Mosque are in good condition and the wooden timber beams of the roof are in excellent condition.
Outside of the Mosque
The front door and windows are still intact, although one of two doors is badly damaged.
