The Panagia Chrysopateritissa Church is located close to the Pomos Dam, Pomos, in a green forest area very close to the Teratsos River.
The Panagia Chrysopateritissa Church.
It is built in a wooded area, just below the Pomos dam. The natural environment, in which this small church is located, gives the visitor a feeling of peace and tranquility.
In the last few years the temple has been expanded. An expansion of 20 meters was built on the west side of the temple and in a higher level from the rest of the ancient temple. 
It is a small chapel made of stone. The outside wall is one metre wide. It has two outside doors on the same side of the temple. One is in the old area of the temple and the other is in the new expanded area. 
The roof of the ancient temple is covered with tiles, the roof of the newer part of the temple is made of cement. |
