The Church of Panagia Katholiki, Kouklia follows the type of a cruciform church and dates back to the 12th or 13th century A.D. The western sector is a 16th century addition.

The Panagia Katholiki Church is located east of the sanctuary of Aphrodite, a short distance from the medieval manor house.

Its construction probably testifies the exsistance of a byzantine settlement in the area during the 12th century.
